About players licenses

Latvian badminton federation (LBF) informs all of their active players that basing on this years general meetings decision, all players, who are participating in competitions that LBF is organizing or sponsoring, have to acquire a player’s license.


The basic task for the licenses is to systemize the active players account, as well as to get extra funding for the events and activities that the federation’s is arranging.


 The fee for a players license is 12,-(twelve) lats per year.



  • Players also have the possibility to get a license for a half year (6,-Ls) or for a full year (season). From finance planning position recommended is to get the year (season) license.

  • Players also have a possibility to purchase a one time license for 3,-Ls.

  • The badminton season is considered the time period from the 1st of July until the 30th of June.

  • License can be bought only by making transfer by clearing to the federation’s account in Swedbank before that electronically getting an invoice.

 To get a player’s license:



  1. Send a letter to the federations e-mail (info@badminton.lv) in the title (subject) pointing out: „License”. The e-mail should include the following information:


    • The players name and surname;

    • Personal identity code;

    • The represented sport club;

    • License’s activity term- a) until 31.12.2010. b) 30.06.2011.

    • Telephone number.

  2. In the supplement has to be added a photo (advisable size 400 x 510 pix). Any kind of photo will do- a portrait, where the person is alone without other persons. If in the picture there is visible the head and shoulders, it is enough that this photo can be put in the license. The photo has to be made in the last half years time period.

  3. In a days time you will get a letter in your e-mail (from which the application was sent) with an invoice in the supplement. The payment can be done through Internet bank or in any branch bank.

  4. It will be possible to get the license in the next competition or with your trainer’s intervention in the training.

In a case if there is not an available suitable photo, then you will get photographed in the time of GP-5 competition, if you want to participate in GP-5, then you have to make the payment for the license before taking part in the competition, paying the money to the Swedbank account.
