QuBalt Badminton Double Cup 2012

The Valmiera Badminton Club and SIA QuBalt invite you to a Badminton Doubles Competition in the nice City of Valmiera in Latvia this autumn. We want to meet you and your fellow Badminton-playing friends in a fair and exciting competition.

1. Organizer:

Valmiera Badminton Club and SIA QuBalt.

2. Time and place:

01.09.2012.

Starting from – 10.00 am at the Valmiera Pargauja elementary school (Meža street 12A, Valmiera, Latvia) sport hall (11 playgrounds)

3. Procedure of event, participants:

The Competition is held for the men and women doubles in two age groups of 39 and under and 40 plus. Players of the two age groups play together in doubles, but will be awarded seperately. The tournament’s date will be the effective date of the age groups. The Organizer is calculating the rankings according the one minus system with all the clearance places (about 4 games each player).

The tournament will be played in accordance to the laws of the Badminton World Federation. In case of a dispute, the head referee will make the final decision.

Players will play with their own feather shuttlecocks.

Individual state of health (and medical insurance) is each player’s responsibility.

4. Awarding:

In both age groups for women and both age groups for men the first 12 players will be awarded with a cup. For the case that the last cup has to be awarded to two players, which are playing a double and both are in the same age group, the cup will be given to the oldest player of that double.

5. Registration:

The registration must be sent on the attached entry form, no later then

6. Participation fee:

3,- LVL (three lats) per participant.
